Keeren Design has been providing quality design services since 2001, having completed over one hundred homes in Oakville and the surrounding area since then. Our firm has been built on referrals and repeat clients; servicing both individual home owners as well as builders. Some people may also remember our sister company “Keeren Fine Homes”, a Tarion registered builder which actively built custom homes in Oakville for approximately five years. Since 2007 we’ve focused solely on architectural design services and find that our building experience gives us a unique advantage over other design firms, in that it has provided us with a wealth of practical knowledge, which is applied daily in our design work.

We work closely with our clients and provide a consistent point of contact through the entire process. We start by seeking to thoroughly understand your needs. This is usually done by creating a list of desired features and amenities the home should have, as well as a visual exploration of exterior options. Once we’ve gathered all the critical information and our clients feel they’ve expressed themselves fully, we get to work on a conceptual design of the proposed dwelling. Once completed, we will do a full presentation of the concept drawings which will comprise of a site plan, floor plans, and a front elevation. From this point, we will continue to revise the drawings as needed until the client is completely satisfied. After this, we begin the working drawing phase, in which all the structural and technical details are added. Then, collaborating with various consultants, the permit drawing package is completed and submitted for permit. Once the permit has been issued, we continue to work closely with both the client and the builder to assist in the process and ensure details are executed as intended.
